Nobody in the world has the exact same experience as you. However, they may have similar looking resumes. –– Please QUANTIFY your experience with very specific numbers. For example: I've remodeled 20-30 kitchens as a Lead Carpenter and 10-12 more as a Carpenter's Helper. Or, During my seven years as an electrician I probably wired one house a week, so 52 weeks x 7 years = 364 houses. I've also done several commercial projects and have run maybe 500' of conduit. –– If you can do this exercise for each item in your job history (relative to your target trade), you will truly stand out in the crowd of resumes.
