Truth #1: Don’t get sloppy with your job search. Don’t spam your resume. Rather, be meticulous. Read, invest time, thought and care into your search.
Truth #2: What you’ve done is the foundation on which you build your potential. It is so much easier to talk about what you can bring to a company if you can point to your portfolio of work.
Truth #3: Go into every meeting prepared. Research the company you are about to have a meeting with, ask intelligent questions. It’s a terrible feeling sitting in a meeting trying to wing it and failing miserably.
