Antique Window Restoration—Will Train

There is nothing worse than a vinyl replacement window. We believe that we have a certain responsibility to preserve the artistry that went into crafting original wooden, architecturally significant windows that exist in so many of our homes and buildings.

Help wanted is for someone who shares our vision and wants to learn woodworking.

Our company provides window restoration and period-authentic replication services for historic homes and buildings throughout all of Western New York and Central New York including Buffalo, Rochester, Finger Lakes Region, and Western Pennsylvania.

If you like working with your hands, are comfortable on your feet all day, and appreciate the charm and character of old homes and buildings this could be a good fit. We welcome good woodworking and painting skills but can train those who are interested in learning. You will learn skills like how to safely strip paint, how to do wood repairs, how to cut glass and how to glaze with traditional putty glazing all which will result in making
historic homes windows function and look great again.

Wages: $14.00/hour during training and usually if you progress well, will get bumped to $15+.
