My current book of business includes many of the larger construction companies in WNY. Many of them have heavy equipment fleets. A substantial amount of those with heavy equipment also have their own shops and mechanics. Many larger construction companies only hire through agencies like my own so if one of them is hiring, I often know about it. Not only do I have construction companies in my book of business, but also industrial, service and all manner of repair shops. Interviewing with me is kind of like interviewing with a hundred companies all at once.
The upside? It doesn’t cost anything. You don’t risk anything but an hour of your time. And you might just end up with the best job of your life.
The downside? I can’t honestly think of one.
