Answer: A job opening for a Site Superintendent.
We do restoration work–mostly windows and doors. But we also do all sorts of odd and complicated projects. Recently we restored a cast iron cornice and currently we’re working on a galvanized steel one. Basically anything that is odd and custom, we get invited to work on. Imagine that we go into a church and restore eighty windows. Each window, it’s own project. Sometimes we’re on site removing and installing–sometimes it’s all shop work. When work is slow we pick up general remodeling projects–it’s rarely slow.

Currently the owner does all of the business development (sales) and manages all of the jobs. We want to split up this workload.
In the new business model, Jim will continue to develop relationships and bring in work. However we will have a Superintendent/Manager to manage the work.
The person we hire:
- May be a former residential remodeling contractor
- Will be good at managing people, projects and lots of moving parts in general. He’ll have experience to prove it.
- Will likely be a DI on a DISC personality profile (if you happen to know yours, let’s talk)
