The job is to keep the building and grounds safe, clean and in good repair.
Start in the morning by unlocking the building by 7:30am. Walk the grounds outside, and on all of the floors. Look for anything that needs attention.
Inspect for HVAC, cleaning issues, snow & ice melt on the sidewalks, plumbing, lighting , electrical, painting, roof leaks, fire alarms, fire sprinklers systems ,elevator operations, door operations, access systems, spills, safety issues, open doors for utility companies, monitor outside contractors working in and around the building, inventory janitorial supplies and place order, maintain inventory of tools and equipment, work with and fill in for parking attendant, janitorial staff and security, respond to web based and written work orders, check with each floor for issues, collect time sheets and paper work for management, report and communicate with management.
In short, solve whatever needs solving.

40 hours a week, full-time
