When my kid asked for college advice I suggested that if the world were to be run by artificial intelligence, then why not be the person who tells the computers what to do? Learn to write code, I said. She, has zero interest in computers. So logically my next thought was, then why not be the person who builds the machines that use the code? Be a Machine Mechanic.
Machines do all the work! Machines dig, move, lift, crush. A machine can do the work of 10,000 men without breaking a sweat.
The world needs folks to install and repair these machines.
A machine mechanic typically knows how to weld. They understand hydraulics, and plumbing and electrical. They’re best at fixing problems!
Our company installs and repairs trash compactors and equipment for major retailers and distributors.
You would drive your service van to various locations around Western New York, then troubleshoot and solve problems.
If you’re new to the trade, you would learn by assisting our Lead Technicians or on new installs.
