Marijuana policy at work

Marijuana. For it or against it—it’s here, and in New York it’s mostly legal. Should we rethink our company policies? Personally I say absolutely.

Marijuana use in America has reached a critical juncture, with eight more states passing ballot measures for medicinal and/or recreational cannabis as of this last election. Twenty-seven states plus the District of Columbia have now legalized marijuana in some capacity. According to National Public Radio, 6 out of 10 Americans now live in a state where adults are relatively free to toke up, even though the federal government still classifies marijuana as a narcotic.
