Two things are bothering me.
First, people tell me all the time, “I’ve been reading your emails for more than a decade and just never got around to calling you.”
And second, maybe we talked two or three years ago and I wasn’t able to find your perfect job solution so you walked away.
The irony in your situation of not being happy with your career is that I have a list on my whiteboard of more than 150 quality companies who for whatever reason just can’t seem to find the right person. Putting you together with them is all about timing, or circumstance, or maybe I misunderstood what you were all about. Sometimes it takes more than a couple of no’s to get to the yes.
