BUILDING ANALYST TRAINING
- This 36-hour course trains contractors how to use building science technology to analyze and resolve residential energy efficiency issues in preparation for the Building Performance Institute Building Analyst written and field exams.
- Learn how the house works as a system, why some homes fail, and how to use the latest building science technology to help resolve residential heating, cooling and base load air leakage problems.
- The course includes four days of classroom training and two days of hands-ontraining in the field to prepare for the BPI Certification exam (call 851-1800 for exam information dates.)
- The cost of this training is $799 and includes all course materials.
- After the course is completed, the instructor will provide a prep test course as well as the BPI certification exam. The cost of the BPI Certification prep-test AND exam is $200.
- ECC Workforce will also assign a BPI approved proctor so the trainee can complete their field exam.

ENVELOPE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
- This 30-hour course covers advanced building envelope diagnostic, evaluation and repair skills in preparation for the Building Performance Institute Envelope Professional written and field exam.
- The course provides two days of classroom training and three days of field work in the areas of duct diagnostics, duct sealing, window and door inspection, building airflow standards, ventilation systems operations and more.
- Prerequisite for this course is successful completion of the Building Analyst training or BPI Building Analyst Certification.
- The course fee is $899 and includes all course materials.
- After the cost is completed, the instructor will provide a prep test course as well as the BPI certification exam. The cost of the BPI Certification prep-test AND exam is $200.
- ECC Workforce will also assign a BPI approved proctor so the trainee can complete their field exam.
