I wasn’t going to bother writing because I figure—it’s the height of the season, unemployment is low, there are mountains of opportunity out there—you’re probably happily working and making lots of money!
If for some crazy reason you or someone you know is not checking all of those boxes, I know of 192 pretty decent opportunities (I counted).
I sat with my team this morning and we decided our top three asks are for
- Roofing talent (of any skill level)
- Carpenters (of any skill level)
- Administration (construction industry experience)
After those, there is everything from site work Superintendents, Managers, Foreman, plumbers, electricians, and drywall. There are specific asks like swing stage experience or steel building construction. Opportunities are still there for general laborers, but a car is still important.
$125 for 125 hours for a referral or sign-on is still in effect, but if you specifically mention this email I’ll pay $450 for 450 hours instead. The same conditions apply.
Edit: After the employee reaches 125 hours, you will be paid out $125, if within 5 months (total) the employee reaches 450 hours you will be paid the remaining balance to equal $450.
