Three ways to get a job in construction
There are three ways to get a job in the construction trades.
1). A referral from your friends. This is arguably the best way to go as long as your friend is working at a great company.
2). Surfing Craigslist. Hundreds of job posts. A few might be from righteous companies. Most are not. How do you know the right direction?
3). Construction Personnel Group, Inc.. Every year I put hundreds of folks to work in some of the most reputable companies in Western New York. Back in 1998 when I started this company, people would come see me as a last resort. In 2017 Sqrft is usually a good mechanics first stop. And why shouldn’t it be?
Why wouldn’t you want an agent working on your behalf?
For 28 years I have made it my business to know what and who is happening in Buffalo, in Construction. It’s not difficult for me to offer you a referral for your next paycheck or career move.
Sending me your resume does not obligate you to do business with me. It simply lets me know that you’re out there—and if one of my client companies need a carpenter, roofer, electrician, plumber, mason, etc with your experience, then I can connect the dots for you.
I don’t promise to find a job for everyone. But I do promise to try to always do the right thing by you.
