Why waste my time with you?
I had a caller today ask me why he should take the time to come in to meet with our Recruiter for an interview. He’s in the middle of an unexpected job-search, sometimes sending out ten or fifteen resumes a day. He needs to be home to keep surfing the ads, receive calls, etc.
In my reply I explained: when you send out your ten resumes a day, eventually you may hear back from 5 or 6 of them. Going in for your interview you’ll fill out your paperwork (5 or 6 times) and then sit through the hard part. You may hear back from a couple of them for a second round of interviews.
When you come to us and meet with our recruiter (and fill out our paperwork), you’ve finished the first part of that same process. But you have not done it for one company – you’ve done it for all of the active companies we have at the time and going forward! When Kim, Real or John send your name to a company you’ve already made it past the first interview to the second one!
I think that’s a huge time-saver, and in today’s job market, more than ever, time is money. For an hour of your time you’ve made first contact with a large number of well-respected, local companies who use Construction Personnel Group as the front door to their Human Resources process. Come meet with us and you’re good to go.
