Residential and Light Commercial Estimator

More than a decade ago we started our construction company with a mission to build a company that would be known for its excellence–a company with employees who were proud to be considered as part of the team. Today we are well on our way.  We’ve grown to a point where it is time to carve out a new position for a residential and light commercial Estimator.

Our Estimators job will not be to go out and find work–it will be to price and win work.  Take-off’s will be done using “Builder’s Trend” software.  You’ll source materials and establish buying channels.  Not only will you process bids, but you’ll analyze them as well.  You’ll engage in dialogue with our subs and vendors.  You’ll work with architects and engineers.

Another part of the job will be to support our Superintendent–almost as an inside Project Manager might.  You’ll help with scheduling and coordinating.  Of course you’ll handle things like submittals, change orders, and other random administrative tasks.  Your job will be to make sure that absolutely nothing “falls through the cracks”.

If you know your DISC, I believe this person to be an SC.  The winning candidate for this job will be presentable, organized, a good person, and like red licorice.

We are located in the Southtowns of Western New York.
